"ADHD is a trait, a way of living in the world. It only becomes a disorder when it impairs your life." Edward M. Hallowell, M.D.
2.4 Million Kids have
ADHD!
Because 2.4 million kids have trouble paying attention
and get into trouble by acting impulsively, we’ve now
got a disorder with a diagnosis. We’ve got a disease
with a drug to cure it. But it doesn’t have to be that way. With our help most kids can change these behaviors . . . without drugs. We can stop using words like disease and disorder. That’s what "ADHD Children Today" is all about: classroom resources for teachers, strategies for parents. You’ll find articles, online classes, and tips. Even some Brain Gym®—that’s my favorite strategy for ADHD
